Nobuyori Ohshima’ s profile:

Graduated the psychology faculty of Asbury College in America.

Master of Literature at Rissho University Graduate School of Literary Research Department.

Formerly a researcher at Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Medical Science, a part-time employee at Clinical Institute on Addiction Problems Harajuku Counseling Room, and concurrently worked at Shuai Toshida Clinic, a hospital specializing in alcohol rehabilitation.  As a psychotherapist consistently learned appropriate measures for addiction/dependency.

After working as a chief therapist at the Clinical Institute on Addiction Problems Harajuku Counseling Room, Ohshima carried on as the representative director of IFF Co. Ltd.

Currently works as the representative director of Insight Counseling Corporation in Tokyo.
“Every person has psychological scars that they just don’t recognize. By being free from psychological wounds, people can live more freely, can’t they?” and believing in new possibilities for the treatment, recovery, and healing of psychological trauma, Ohshima founded Insight Counseling Corporation in 2003.

Developed the Free from Anxiety Program (FAP), a brief therapy, and counsels a wide range of cases as well as trauma.

Ohshima has published many books in Japanese. English editions include “Mirror Neurons Will Save Your Life” and “People Who Get Dominated.”
